03 Employee & Staff Data

When a Customer uses EqualGlance Inc.'s Scheduling, Staff Training, or Team Communication features, the Customer submits personal information about its own employees and staff (such as names, contact details, availability, hours worked, and training records). As between EqualGlance Inc. and the Customer, the Customer is the data controller for its Staff Users' information, and EqualGlance Inc. acts as a data processor / service provider acting only on the Customer's instructions.

Customers are solely responsible for: (a) providing any notices to, and obtaining any consents from, their employees required by applicable law before entering their information into the Service; (b) ensuring their use of scheduling, timekeeping, and related features complies with applicable Labor Laws (as described in our Terms of Service); and (c) responding to any requests from their Staff Users to access, correct, or delete their information. EqualGlance Inc. is not responsible for a Customer's failure to meet these obligations.

04 How We Use Information

05 AI Processing

EqualGlance Inc. uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI model providers, to process customer communications, voice input, and business content in order to generate replies, summaries, training materials, and recommendations. This processing may involve transmitting content to AI infrastructure providers under contractual terms that restrict their use of your data. Calls may be transcribed and, where required by applicable two-party consent or wiretap laws, Customers are responsible for providing any required notice or obtaining consent from call participants before enabling call handling or recording features.

06 How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. Depending on your jurisdiction, certain data sharing for advertising or analytics purposes may be considered a "sale" or "share" under applicable law; [confirm current advertising/analytics practices before finalizing this section].

07 Data Retention

We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon account termination, we will delete or de-identify Customer Data within [XX] days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records).

08 Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Customers can exercise most of these rights directly within their account settings, or by contacting us at [privacy@swiftly.example]. End customers and Staff Users who wish to exercise privacy rights regarding data submitted by a Customer's business should contact that business directly, as they control that data; we will assist our Customers in responding to such requests as required by applicable law.

10 Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

11 Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences (such as light/dark mode), and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

12 International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.

13 Changes to This Policy
